Welcome to the website of the congregation of Keith: North, Newmill, Boharm, & Rothiemay. Our congregation is part of the Christian church and in particular the Church of Scotland which is Presbyterian. We are situated in the north east of Scotland in Moray. It is a beautiful part of the country with superb scenery and fantastic coastline. We have three places of worship the first being in the distillery town of Keith. Whisky distilling is the predominant industry in Keith with four distilleries operating in the town and exporting its product world-wide. Keith itself is a friendly place where you can feel at home straightaway amongst the townsfolk. Some 8 miles away from Keith is the village of Rothiemay where we hold services at the village church on the last Sunday of the month at 9.30am. On the first Sunday of the month we have a service at 9.30am at the village hall at Mulben in the district of Boharm which is about 5 miles west of Keith. Services at the north church in Keith are held every Sunday at 11am. The other part of our parish is the village of Newmill which is nearby to Keith and does not have a place of worship as the church there closed some years ago.
We are a busy congregation with many activities happening on a weekly basis. Details can be found elsewhere on this website. As well as our weekly activities we hold special events throughout the year to coincide with the Christian year and also to support various charities. One again, details of these events are posted on the website.
If we can be of help on any church related matter or simply offer advice about coming to Keith and Moray please do not hesitate to get in touch with us through our church office or the contact details which you will find in the links at the top of the homepage.
Thank you for visiting our website and God bless you.
